The Premium card

If you are a frequent traveller who has acquired more than 10,000 travelling points within the 12 months, you will be promoted to the Premium status for 1 year, and you will receive your new card. Our accounting Premium qualification takes place each month (based on points accumulated on flights).

To benefit these advantages, you will be asked to show your digital or laminated card at the check-in desk.

  • Entitlement to primes
  • Priority on waiting lists for reservations and at check-in
  • Access to exclusive priority check-in counters at Roissy CDG2C, Saint Denis Roland Garros, Bangkok, Johannesburg
  • Seat choice "STANDARD" (window, aisle, quick exit) free in Loisirs class on the whole Air Austral network
  • Receive an additional item of baggage allowance depending on your travel class
    (23kg in Loisirs, 23kg in Confort and 32kg in Club Austral class) for an Air Austral operating flight / ( 23kg in Economy, 23kg in Premium Economy and 32kg in Business class) for an Air Madagascar operating flight.
    (except for Light fare flight, students fare and Tsaradia domestic flight)
  • Access to airport lounges such as Le Guétali for Confort/Premium Class and Loisirs/Economy passengers and the Club Austral for Club Austral/Business Class passengers in Reunion, PARIS at Roissy CDG2C, Atol in Mauritius, the VIP lounge in Tananarive and in Mayotte, Bidvest and Menzies in Johannesburg, Eva Air and Air France in Bangkok.
    You may invite a companion of your choice to airport lounges, even if you are flying in Loisirs class. Just remember to ask at check-in in order to obtain 2 lounge access cards.
  • Priority baggage tags for your luggage in the hold
  • A free upgrade bonus on one returns flight per calendar year in either Confort/Premium class or Club Austral/Business. This bonus is subject to conditions, such as the availability of prime booking class, or eligibility to upgrade depending on the fare paid.
  • An additional credit of 8% on each flight (based upon ESSENTIEL scale)

The Exclusive card :

The Abonné-Premium status is promoted to the Exclusive status and can cumulate the advantages of the two levels :

  • An additional credit of 10% on each flight (based upon ESSENTIEL scale)
  • A free bonus companion ticket per year, for return flights in Loisirs/Economy, Confort/Premium of Club Austral/Business classes when buying a ticket in the same class reservation
